New Blog
Well not that I don't already have enough on my plate, blogging at Orble, writing for Helium and Chicken Soup, freelancing articles for Parenting Magazines. I have decided to add more and now have a new blog that will focus on my life, my kids, my marriage, and whatever else I think.
Bandaid's Booboo's and Discombobulation is the name and it relates to my personal thoughts on whatever. I will of course still be writing here at Parentwriter because I like to report things. New kids items. Thoughts I have on parenting and so forth. The other blog is just personal.
I chose to use Blogger as my host and not because I don't loveeeeeeeeee Orble. It's just Blogger offers more freedom when it comes to layout and design of your blog, something I absolutely love and needed for what I wanted to do.
You will also find blogs for both my kids. Jake's blog is going to be co-written by him along with myself. He's very excited and can't wait to share his stories. I'm so proud he has inherited my love of books and writing. He will also show his art work, talk about his day and so forth.
Trace isn't old enough yet to blog so his space will be written by me. Mostly posts along with pics of the things he's doing, where he's going and so forth to share with our family and friends.
I really struggled on whether or not to begin a blog for a boys. What with all the crazies out there in Internet land. But I have taught Jake not to share personal information with anyone online. I monitor all his activity (now) that's in grade four and is beginning to get curious about girls, meeting people more and so forth. So we will see how it goes.
At Bandboodisc (short name for the personal blog) you will also find my writing. Poetry I've written and short stories, things I'm working on and a list of my articles written to date on Helium and other various sites.
I hope you enjoy what I post as much as I enjoy writing and sharing with all of you, and don't be afraid to leave me a comment or two at the other blog to let me know what you think of it, the design and so forth.
Have a great day!
