Crazy stuff you can do with the Nintendo Wii...
My husband wants a PS3. He had a PS2. My son wants an XBox 360 and a PSP. Me well, I've never been a big video game fan. Well not really.
Growing up our first video game console was an ATARI where I spent endless hours playing games like PONG and PITFALL. But as the years rolled on I outgrew it.
My next console bought was a SEGA.
It wasn't until I was 20 or so (maybe longer) that I finally bought my first Nintendo console and fell in love with such games as Mario Bro, Donkey Kong and Mario Kart and more.
Now years later a gift from heaven was given to me when our neighbors came over one day and asked if we wanted their Nintendo Wii for free. And let me tell you I'm in love.
The Wii is the best video game console I've ever come across. And I'm not a gamer so I know my opinion is well... (just that) my own opinion. But let me tell you. I love the fact that the Wii is interactive getting my butt off the sofa and playing with my kids.
DH and I bowl quite often. Even my parents have enjoyed a few frames with us. I play snowboarding and tennis with my son. I even get to box when I am stressed out.
Now I don't anything about all these Wii hacks or Wii mods that are scouring the Internet daily on how to do modifications to the Wii system, hack games and play for free. But I will say I find it interesting.
These hardcore gamers are doing exciting things with each gaming console that you would not believe. Things that go past the imagination and I thought I would share with you one I found rather interesting and quite ingenious.
Below is a video of a guy who took his Nintendo Wii and put it inside his old Nintendo console turning it into a Wiitendo. His own invention, creatively thought up I might add. And I must say a thing of beauty when looking at it. I just had to share it with you.
Like I said I'm no hardcore gamer. Need for speed is something no mother wants her child playing or even contemplating... LOL
But I do have to say to all those guys out there who create and change their systems, mod their remotes by adding led lights to fancy them up and making them look better than before. This mom is kinda impressed at all the neat things you boys have managed to do.
Not that I approve of ripping off games... and you should all have a TIME-OUT!
It's still kinda cool!
